About Patriots First Outdoors

Our Founding

Patriots First Outdoors was founded in 2023 by a group of veterans and outdoor enthusiasts who recognized the profound impact that nature and camaraderie can have on healing and well-being. After witnessing the challenges faced by fellow service members returning from deployment, they were inspired to create an organization that would provide a supportive community, and outdoor experiences designed to promote physical, mental, and emotional recovery.

What began as a small effort to take veterans on fishing trips and outdoor adventures, quickly grew into a larger movement. The founders knew that the therapeutic benefits of the great outdoors, combined with the support of a close-knit community, could make a real difference in the lives of those who have sacrificed so much.

We believe that through outdoor activities like fishing, hunting, hiking, and camping, we can create opportunities for reflection, relaxation, and the building of strong, lasting relationships.
